James Madison tied the all-time record for most points scored against North Carolina’s football team. The Dukes scored 53 in the first half on the way to a stunningly lopsided win

North Carolina plummeted to the absolute rock bottom of Mack Brown's tenure with Saturday afternoon's 70-50 loss, at home, to James Madison. This after the Tar Heels (3-1) entered as 10.5-point favorites against the Sun Belt Conference school that lost its coach and a majority of its impact starters in the offseason.

James Madison rolled into Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill on Saturday and hung 53 points on North Carolina after the first half to go on to win in dominant fashion, 70-50. Though, clearly defense was lacking on both sides.
