CINCINNATI — The Reds fired manager David Bell on Sunday night. Bell was in his sixth season with the team. Longtime MLB manager and World Series Champion Joe Maddon weighed in on Cincinnati's decision during an appearance on MLB Network.

The search for a new manager for the Cincinnati Reds will begin immediately following the firing of manager David Bell after six seasons, president of baseball operations Nick Krall said.

David Bell, once regarded as a promising manager for the Cincinnati Reds, was recently fired. Following a season filled with disappointed expectations, the Reds made the decision to part ways with Bell.
